> IECS Foundation
The IECS Foundation is unique among the network of French Management Schools. Membership comprises 113 companies and organizations and its role includes helping to design program content, providing concrete examples to complement the teaching and providing a bridge between the business world and the university.
The Foundation is also directly involved in the management of IECS - Strasbourg Graduate School of Management, the only case of its kind in France for a university
organization. Its main goals are to help in the development of the school, to maintain ongoing communication between companies and IECS and to secure the loyalty of both French and foreign students so that they contribute directly or indirectly to corporate development, through job, project assignment or internship offers.
The Main Activities of the IECS Foundation
> Organizing the Annual Manager and Engineer Convention, Job and Internship Forum
> Participating in panels, conferences, and the school's development committee
> Proposing subjects for dissertations of practical use to companies
> Organizing conferences and events
> Organizing Foundation Lunches, monthly getting-to-know-you lunches bringing together fifteen or so companies to discuss specific themes relating to the school
> Creating corporate chairs and consortiums made up of managers from a specific sector or with the same job: Sales, NICT, Supply Chain, etc.
