A high-calibre teaching staff, with complementary skills and a broad vision of the world
IECS lecturer-researchers come from a university background, and provide invaluable scientific input for teaching. The considerable experience they have gained in different sectors of business management as well as their research work (publications in academic journals, books and participation in international symposia) brings genuine added value to the teaching both for students in full time or part time training.
The teaching is also based on the considerable experience brought by business professionals, all of whom are recognised experts in their respective areas. These business leaders offer students their first-hand knowledge of the economic and operational workings of the business world, and provide a key success factor for students' future development.
Every year IECS invites a dozen or so highly-qualified visiting professors from partner universities in the US, Mexico, Canada, Greece, Italy, Germany, the UK and Spain. Visiting professors are able to bring both considerable academic knowledge and cross-cultural diversity to their teaching and provide a highly-enriching experience for the students.
Nine languages are taught at the IECS, reflecting its status as a genuinely international school. The linguists teaching in the Language and Foreign Culture department help drive the intercultural awareness which helps prepare students for international management assignments around the world.
