Strasbourg Petite FranceA school within the city
IECS is just a short 10-minute tram or bike-ride from the city centre. Access is very easy: the Observatory tram stop is a 2-minute walk away, while there is an extensive cycle-track network and an efficient bus service. Just a couple of things that make living in Strasbourg so pleasant.

A dynamic campus
IECS is located in a prime position on the university campus of the Esplanade district. Built in the 60s, the Esplanade has grown around its university faculties and over a third of its inhabitants are students. The district offers comprehensive facilities, including shops and services, bookshops, estate-agencies, copy and binding shops, fast-food restaurants and the Citadelle and Orangerie parks.

etudiants There are some 48,000 students in Strasbourg, with 38,000 in the city's three universities: the Louis Pasteur University specialises in scientific and medical studies, the Marc Bloch University specialises in humanities and languages, while the Robert Schuman University (which IECS belongs to) focuses on management and legal studies.
